You're not alone. Manna Food Center has given food to more than 1.7 million people since 1983. (Manna Food Center only serves residents of Montgomery County. If you live elsewhere in Maryland, please contact either the Maryland Food Bank or the Western Maryland Food Bank for emergency food assistance.)

How? Get a referral...
To get food from Manna, you need a referral from one of the 350 agencies, schools and organizations that work with Manna. Some of the organizations that can call in a referral to Manna Food Center include:

Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services, Community Ministries, City of Rockville City of Gaithersburg, Local HELP organizations, The Salvation Army - National Capital area, Montgomery County Corps

Many schools, Linkages to Learning, Head Start, the Spanish Catholic Center, Crisis Center, law enforcement agencies, local hospitals, local clinics

What will you get?...
When you come to Manna, you will receive about 78 pounds of perishable and non-perishable food. We can only give the food we receive from grocery stores and food drives so the exact food in each box varies, but generally you'll receive some produce, meat, canned fruits and vegetables, pasta, rice, bread, drinks, sweet treats, and other nutritious food.
